Squash supports the main test frameworks and studios, including Katalon. An automation workflow ensures an effective process from the selection of the tests to be automated up to their integration in an automated test plan. Once the Katalon tests have been implemented, they can be launched from Squash: a Katalon execution profile can be selected, system environment variables can be defined, Squash custom fields (they can be retrieved in the Katalon script) are transmitted… all these features allow a precise control of the behavior of the Katalon scripts from Squash. The results and reports are then accessible in Squash where they can be easily analyzed. Squash also supports triggering automated test plans from a CI/CD pipeline, the results and reports will also be uploaded and exploitable in Squash, and using the test results as a quality gate: test categories can be defined (depending on their criticality, type…), each category must have a minimum success rate otherwise the pipeline will be stopped.
